Sonic Research at Cordell
Cordell Bank’s soundscape features whales and ships Researchers working with the Sanctuary just published an analysis of acoustic data collected at Cordell Bank revealing that both large vessels and vocalizing baleen whales contribute to the ambient soundscape of the Sanctuary. Soundscape monitoring supports the evaluation of conditions for management of the Sanctuary. Learn more here!
