Fond Farewell, George & Welcome, Gavin!
This year brought changes in the Cordell Marine Sanctuary Foundation Board. We welcomed Gavin Chicott, who earned a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Washington. Gavin is an active technical diver as well as the founder and COO of Continuum Sports, managing cycling teams competing in top tier international racing. As 2020 ended, George Clyde stepped off the Board. George served Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary for many years, as a member and Chair of the Sanctuary Advisory Council and most recently on the Foundation Board. We will miss his sage advice and will seek his council on a less formal basis in the future. Thanks to both Gavin and George!
